Meet Charlie
I am the owner and Head of Fitness at Hack The Body, Hack The Mind. I get asked questions like, “where did the idea come from?” and “Mental health and Physical health, it’s a really good blend”. So why HTBHTM? Why did I start this company? I’ll tell you a little bit about me and my journey.
I started training in 2015 and quickly fell in love. I love training for the challenge and continuous improvement I would see on a daily basis but I also saw the benefits mentally. I have struggled with my mental health since I was 16, dealing with anxiety and depression. Exercise, counselling, support and knowledge helped me to overcome a lot of my struggles, they all helped me to understand who I was and who I wanted to be.
I found through exercise and counselling that my Mental Health improved dramatically. And that is why I started this company. To help people who struggle with their health as a whole. Hack The Body Hack The Mind is here to support people. Mentally and Physically.
My goal is to help people overcome the hard challenges life throws at them, through personal training, well-being days and 1-2-1 sessions
If I had to sum it up I would say,
“I want to arm people with the knowledge and self-belief that they can overcome any challenge, do whatever they want and be whoever they want.”
